Maui Pathfinder Club
By Youth Ministry
Pathfinders are a worldwide organization sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church for youth who are in the fifth (5th) grade or its equivalent through the eighth (8th) grade. All youth of any religious persuasion, or none at all, are welcome!
MauiPathfinder Club is a church-centered spiritual-recreational-activity program. Although for youth, we strive to bring together parents and church members through active involvement with the club and its members, leaning on the premise that “children learn best by example, rather than precept.”
Some activities our club has done in the past include:
- Camping & camping survival skills
- Hiking, navigating
- Cooking, baking
- Singing ministries at Kula Hospital
- Outer island ministry (Lanai)
- Fundraisers (carwash, bakesale, Christmas caroling, etc.)
- Conference Camporee (Camp Waianae)
