Sabbath Bulletin - Aug 30, 2025: A Work of Reformation
By Maui Kahului Seventh Day Adventist Church
Thank you for joining us this Sabbath! We extend a heartfelt "Aloha & Happy Sabbath," to all our members, visitors, & guests. We are thrilled to have you with us today this Sabbath.
We encourage all members to come early for Sabbath School starting at 09:30 AM! There are classes for all ages/levels. Sabbath School is truly the heart of our morning Sabbath service where we can meet & actively learn together.
Thought of the day
There is a work of reformation to be done in all of us no matter what stage of life we are in.
From the lowliest society to the most honored & prestigious positions of life, we are still sinful, fallen, broken, vessels of clay, needing a sculptor to mold us & shape us to produce a beautiful piece of art, & to be a useful container that receives the water of life from the source, & a vessel that holds what God has given us well, without holes to be poured out again to those who thirst. Those who have none or need more.
We think the prophet Isaiah to be one of prestige & honor in our eyes, or compared to our life’s spiritual walk, referenced by Jesus many times throughout His life & ministry here on earth, and yet in the sight of a holy God, He said, “Woe is me, for I am undone.”
