The Lord Would Speak to Moses face to face, as one speaks to a friend. Then Moses would return to the camp, but his young aide Joshua son of Nun did not leave the tent.

Thought of the day

In past messages, we spoke about how God enjoys us, and how we can enjoy Him through Scripture. Today, we reflect on the joy of knowing God through prayer. Prayer is more than a habit; it’s a conversation with a Friend. In Exodus 33:11, God speaks to Moses “face to face, as one speaks to a friend.” In John 15:15, Jesus calls us friends, not servants. God invites us to talk with Him honestly, just like a trusted friend. Take time today to enjoy that sacred friendship.

As we prepare for our Evangelistic Series this October, 2025, we feel a strong call to reconnect with our friends & missing members of the Kahului Church Family. Their presence matters, & now is the time to extend an invitation of love & fellowship. Today we ask all Church Board members to stay briefly after the worship service (~30 min) to meet with our Prayer Coordinator. She will guide us in reaching out & prayer for those we haven’t seen in a while. Your presence & participation are very important. Together, let's sow the seeds of love & welcome, preparing hearts for the work God will do in this upcoming evangelistic series.

Hawaii Conference Town Hall Meeting 06:30 PM at Kahului SDA Church. All Maui & Lanai churches are welcome to hear important updates from the HI Conference Office, ask questions, & share feedback. Use this pre-Constituency session as a meaningful opportunity to engage with current leaders & participate in open discussion.

Church Work Bee. Many hands make light work. There is an ongoing list of tasks listed in the foyer. Anyone with specialised skills such as construction, plumbing, electrical wiring, etc, your skills are also welcome to help keep our church building functioning.
