Sabbath Bulletin - July 19, 2025: Rescued Safe in Jesus!

By Maui Kahului Seventh Day Adventist Church

Thank you for joining us this Sabbath! We extend a heartfelt "Aloha & Happy Sabbath," to all our members, visitors, & guests. We are thrilled to have you with us today this Sabbath.

Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock. But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against those, and it fell with a great crash.”
Matthew 7:24-27

Thought of the day

When the floods rise and the winds roar, the difference between falling and standing firm lies in the foundation we choose. In Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus reminds us that those who build their lives on His Words, like a house on solid rock, will remain strong through life’s storms. The recent devastating flood in Texas has reminded us how fragile life can be, but also how powerful love and community are when anchored in Christ. Our VBS mission offering will go to support the Kerrville SDA Church Flood Relief Fund, bringing hope and restoration to those affected. Let us be the hands of Jesus, helping others rebuild, not just homes, but faith and courage, on the solid Rock…
